The highest observed daily close was 67 listings on 2026-08-09; the lowest was 39 on 2026-08-06. A listing contributes to each day it remains published, so daily counts should not be added to estimate unique jobs.

What the figures tell us

The directory recorded 33 publication or reopening events and 21 closure or expiry events during the whole month. A closure means a listing stopped being published; it does not establish that a hire was made.

At month end, 3 of 53 listings were classified as contract or fractional work, and 50 as salaried or permanent. Employer coverage moved from 20 to 31 companies with published roles.

These changes can reflect listing closures, editorial checks and changes in monitored sources. We cannot attribute them to a change in economy-wide hiring demand.
